Program your own self-driving car
automa F1/10 is a 1:10 car that uses cameras to read the track. Write code to find lane markings, calculate steering and speed, then test it on a model track.
What you'll learn
- Read camera images and find lane markings
- Use the lane position to calculate steering and speed
- Compare test runs, find problems and adjust the program
Good for
- High school students interested in programming, robotics or cars
- People working on a science project or preparing for a robotics competition
- University students who want their own car for control and computer vision practice. The car shares the 1:10 scale of F1TENTH; check each competition's rules before choosing a race configuration.
For parents
The car can be used for a practical programming project: writing code, testing it, finding problems and fixing them. Raspberry Pi 5 is an option if you do not already have an embedded computer. The car has a 1-year warranty and free delivery within Vietnam. Preparation takes about 2–3 weeks after payment; shipping time is additional.
